Charity Overview
The DBS Foundation was started, after realizing the tremendous need for funding of DBS operations. Due to the incredible cost of this operation many patients can’t afford this, and we decided that everyone should be given the opportunity to lead a better quality life. Sr Ina Nel came up with the concept of a foundation that can assist these patients and with the help of Volunteers we built a strong foundation to start from. We have support group meetings, do fundraising for patients who can’t afford the operation; we act as an information centre on all DBS and movement disorders. |
